Current Projects
I'm working on an adaptation, or new rendering, of the ideas of the ancient Roman
philosopher Seneca (as I read them). On my Stoic
letters blog, I'm writing a post (in order) for each of his Epistulae morales ad Lucilium
('Letters to Lucilius about Ethics'), taking up one or two points from the letter each time.
I recently started collecting ideas and materials for a Phenomenology of the Unreal. In this journal, casual observation, careful analysis and wild speculation will
hopefully add up to some interesting picture of what a phenomenology of
unreality might look like. Perhaps I will, at some later time, put the various
strands of thought together and forge them into a more systematic and
comprehensively structured text. (But I haven't plans for that at the moment.)
